A live demonstration will be conducted with attending PODS members.

Monthly Photo Theme: Last month’s field trip was to the Wimberley Glassworks and The Blue Hole – also in Wimberley. Please bring any photo(s) from these trips that you would like to share to the meeting on a USB thumb drive so that it/they can be displayed. Also share any new glassware images that you taken. Please limit the number of photos to two.
Patty’s presentation is titled Land, Water and Birds, images from the tri-state region of New Mexico, Texas and Louisiana. Patty has selected a variety of images from several locations, including the Dripping Springs area for a sampling of some of the types of photography she’s been doing these past couple of years.

Program: Wildlife Photographer Carol DiQuilio
Speaker: Carol DiQuilio
Wildlife Whisperer Carol DiQuilio, who was scheduled to present in 2020, will share an array of her intimate images of wildlife. Carol’s wildlife photography has an intimacy as if she has a personal relationship with each of the subjects she shoots.
Whether a it’s a cedar waxwing balancing a berry in its beak, squirrels embracing, a fox stopping for a pose that speaks of mutual acknowledgment and understanding, or Great Horned owlets peeking out of their bucket nest for a big howdy to the world, Carol has a special relationship with wildlife that is revealed in her large portfolio of images and stories.
At the February PODS meeting Carol will share her stories and techniques for capturing wildlife. She will also talk about how she has created a market for her images and how the process is unfolding, challenges and rewards to staying the course.
