Due to the Thanksgiving holiday PODS will hold the November meeting one week (and one day) early. The meeting will be on Wednesday, November 16th at 6:30pm at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church (Parish Hall) located at 301 Hays Country Acres Rd in Dripping Springs, Texas. We will be hosting a photography “show and tell” this month with our members and guests bringing in their favorite piece of photography equipment. Anyone who would like to get up and talk about their equipment will be able to do so and we will allow time for everyone to get a chance to ask questions and see the gear. At the end of the meeting we will also have a swap meet so that anyone that’s looking to sell, trade or buy used (or new) equipment can do so at that time. We’ve done this Show & Tell/Swap Meet several times in the past and it’s always been so much fun! So don’t miss out- mark your calendars now!

The PODS October monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, October 27th at 6:30pm. We meet at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church (Parish Hall) located at 301 Hays Country Acres Road. Our guest speaker will be Jim Nix and he will be discussing Aurora HDR Pro- Use and Tips. HDR is short for High Dynamic Range and the process to create HDR photos is both fun and interesting. The PODS September meeting will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 6:30pm. Our meetings are at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church (Parish Hall) located at 301 Hays Country Acres Rd in Dripping Springs, TX.  Our guest speaker will be Tim Kasberger of Color Inc. and he will be speaking about photo printing. Color Inc. is a professional photography lab specializing in photographic printing , press printing, gallery wrapped canvas, mounting and much more. The PODS August meeting is coming up soon. We will meet on Thursday August 25th-6:30pm at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Dripping Springs Texas.
Our guest speaker this month will be Melody Lytle. Melody is a retired endangered species biologist who spends as much time as possible shooting wildlife photos, especially birds. She is a photo guide at Laguna Seca Ranch and her photos can be seen on Flickr and atwww.karenmelody.com.
